Into the future of Retail: Yan and Pete's excellent EuroShop and London study tour

Have you ever wondered what the future of retail looks like? Well, BCG's Peter Mitchell -Head of Operations, Designs and Projects, and YanYan Zhao - Head of Business Development, recently went on an excellent retail adventure to EuroShop in Düsseldorf, Germany, and they were able to witness and experience the future of retail first-hand.
EuroShop is the world's largest retail trade fair, and Yan and Pete were able to explore ground-breaking retail technology and connect with industry experts. They discovered remarkable technologies and innovations that will enhance and personalise the customers' shopping experience – the cornerstone of retail. A further highlight was Peter and Yan’s ability to join our international Tek Tile flooring colleagues on their trade stand alongside meeting with other long-time clients in attendance – all sharing their passion for the future of retail.
Yan and Pete’s search for the next big thing in retail next brought them to London where they had a lovely time catching up with their colleagues from V-Tex, talking about the newest addition to BCG’s product offering – V-Tex Australia’s Rapid Beverage Cooler. They also went on a study tour at Marks & Spencer Food, one of the most iconic department stores in the world.
With everything they’ve discovered and learned throughout EuroShop and their London study tour, Pete and Yan are thrilled to put them into practice by improving and innovating BCG’s product offering – checkout counters, fresh produce display, bakery displays, and more, to help clients stay ahead of the curve in the ever-evolving world of retail.
